“I think the courage to love is different than to simply love. We have the courage to love and I feel that’s what really matters. That’s why hope is so important. Hope is an act of love because it believes the future we want doesn’t have to imitate the future we are in.” — Dr. Henry Giroux (find him on Twitter, and read his books America at War With Itself and Zombie Politics)
Dr. Giroux is an American and Canadian scholar and cultural critic. One of the founding theorists of critical pedagogy in the United States, he is best known for his pioneering work in public pedagogy, cultural studies, youth studies, higher education, media studies, and critical theory.
