Author and empath Signe Myers Hovem and I share a lovely conversation about the healing arts, energy, vibration, and her new book, The Space in Between. She also talks about her life in Oslo and the healing power of nature.

Signe Myers Hovem is an ordained Spiritual Counselor through the AIWP (Association for the Integration of the Whole Person), having completed a three-year training program from Inward Resource Center of AIWP, in Houston, Texas. During the years 2003–2009, she founded and operated Sacred Solutions, a Houston-based spiritual counseling service located at The Spectrum Center, Houston, Texas. Her private and group practice united my two passions of writing and the healing art of self-awareness.

The Space in Between follows empath Signe Hovem as she explores and learns to accept and nurture her own empathic abilities. Along the way she discovers that being an empath is neither a gift nor a curse, but an ability that allows us to live in extended communication with nature and humanity. The journey of the empath requires us to dismantle long-held beliefs and rediscover what it means to live a truly authentic life.

Written for persons who identify as highly sensitive, as empathic, or as empaths, The Space in Between is a road map to cultivating both self-awareness and connectivity with the greater world.
