What a breath of fresh air to interview this courageous woman, Randi Tanglen, who is creating a peaceful wave of awareness and activism out in the hinterlands of Texas.
Randi Tanglen teaches American literature and gender studies at Austin College in Sherman, Texas. She started a secret Facebook page for close friends and family after the election, and it has now become a grassroots clearinghouse for women’s activism in her small town. The purpose of the group is to empower women to see themselves as more than a “small blue spot in a sea of red.” She attended the Women’s March in Austin, Texas on January 21, 2017.
Run for something! i’m sure you’ve thought of it and maybe already have something in the works. Just imagine beating someone like, say, John Ratcliffe. just sayin’ — you’d have a world of support. Thanks for the work you’ve already done. Jim Gray (formerly of Austin College).
