What a fabulous show that covers a lot of bases. Paul Denniston really opened up his heart for us as well as adding some practical wisdom we could all use to improve our lives.
A student of yoga for 20 years, Paul Denniston is a certified yoga teacher in Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Hot Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Kundalini Yoga and Laughter Yoga. He teaches students as well as coaching other yoga teachers. Paul has volunteered at one of the largest hospices in Los Angeles, offering Heart Touch massage to the dying. He also has taught Movement at the Stella Adler Academy in Hollywood.
Paul created Grief Yoga after working with grief expert, David Kessler, as well as studying William Worden, Elisabeth Kübler Ross, and Peter Levine. He also worked and studied with yoga masters Gurmukh and Seanne Corn. His intention is to combine many different forms of yoga in order to help heal grief. His DVD, Grief Yoga, Moving into Empowerment, has quickly become a best seller and his second DVD is a special yoga ritual in healing after a break up, divorce and betrayal.
Paul has taught Grief Yoga for several years at Kripalu Center for Yoga and at Golden Bridge Yoga in Los Angeles and New York City. He also teaches Grief Yoga to Bereavement groups, Cancer Support Centers, Addiction Groups, and Alzheimer’s Groups. He often demonstrates techniques and exercises to therapists, counselors and health care professionals to use with their clients in The United States, Canada, England, and Australia.
My Dad transitioned a month ago as I was holding his hand and I really needed to hear this. All the words in the interview rang true for me.
I also loved your choice of song. “My Heart Will Go On” is one of my favorites!
Thank you Paul and Paul
Thank you Carol, much love your way…
