A free flowing conversation about creativity, people watching and all kinds of other cool stuff with the Canadian poet Jess Janz.
Jess Janz, is a tender-hearted artist and writer who has also been called a poet, facilitator, meandering storyteller, host, and gatherer of humans.
If we’re talking about the traditional path to “success,” she did some school for creative writing where she learned enough to trust that experiencing the world is a better teacher than the classroom. Since then she has gone on to play in the band Fitness Club Fiasco, self-published a poetry collection, began hosting writing workshops, wrote nearly 100 poetry commissions, and co-founded a dinner series for strangers.
