‘There is no more neutrality in the world. You either have to be part of the solution, or you’re going to be part of the problem.’ Eldridge Cleaver
This is episode eleven of our series on The People Who Marched. Today, we welcome Chris Hall (Find him on Facebook) who participated at the Washington DC location.
Originally from Texas, Chris Hall has lived in Washington, DC, almost non-stop for 40 years. After receiving his Master’s degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, he devoted his life’s work to international development, working as an economist for the World Bank for almost 30 years. Since retiring from there he has kept busy doing volunteer work for political candidates and issues, including as campaign staff for the Obama campaign in 2008, narrating audiobooks, and becoming an architectural photographer. In the fall of 2016 he was a volunteer for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign in York County, Pennsylvania. During the summers and early fall, when he’s not attending Washington Nationals or Washington Capitals games, he spends part of his time at his home on Martha’s Vineyard.
Chris comes from a BIG Texas style family that is so proud to know such a special person. He is a wonderful example of what an intelligent and diligent person can do to do their part in making this a better world – on the job or after.
