What a privilege for me to have Harvey J. Kaye (find him on Twitter!) on my program. I have long admired his writing and commentary on all things progressive. He is also a fabulous historian with a quick wit and gift for storytelling.

On this program he gives us multiple lessons and we can draw from our past to help create a better future for all of us.

Harvey J. Kaye is the Ben & Joyce Rosenberg Professor of Democracy and Justice Studies at the University of Wisconsin at Green Bay. He is also the author and editor of numerous works, including “The American Radical, Are We Good Citizens?” “Thomas Paine and the Promise of America”, and “The Fight For The Four Freedoms: What Made FDR And The Greatest Generation Truly Great”. Kaye teaches courses on American history, politics, and society.
